'The Stsmemelt Movement'

In Canada, only 7% of children are Indigenous, yet 50% of them are in foster care. The Stsmémelt Movement is an initiative of the Shuswap Nation Tribal Council, an organization working to implement a nation-based and family-focused approach to child and family services for their people. This short film unpacks the experiences of three individuals within the foster care system.
